Plain Whole-Milk Yogurt
Simple, tangy, and cultured for a smooth, spoonable texture.
Small-batch whole-milk yogurt and Indian-inspired raitas made in California with organic milk, carefully selected cultures, and bold, familiar flavors.
Raita is a traditional Indian yogurt dish made with vegetables, herbs and spices — and every one of them comes from somewhere specific. Ours do too: kachri gathered wild in the villages of Haryana, mint pounded the way it is on a Punjabi kitchen step. Two raitas to start, in returnable glass.

Our products are manufactured through an approved California dairy facility, cooled for safety, and kept refrigerated through delivery and sale. Every jar is connected to a documented production batch.
Whole organic milk and selected cultures — nothing else we can't name.
Cooled after culturing and kept refrigerated through delivery and sale.
Every jar traces back to a recorded production batch.
We blend cultures from houses in Denmark, Bulgaria and India — strains chosen because they survive the trip to your gut, not because they're cheap. Never heat-treated, never packed in plastic.
Thermophilic strains for tang and body, plus acidophilus, rhamnosus and bifidobacteria for diversity.
We stop the ferment young and never heat-treat afterward. Every jar carries its batch date.
Glass jars, steel lids, paper labels, returnable crates. Bring the jar back for a dollar off.
I grew up eating yogurt made at home. It was part of everyday life — not just a sweet snack, but a fresh, versatile food served plain, with fruit, or as savory raita.
Batch & Culture brings that tradition into a modern local dairy business: thoughtfully cultured yogurt, bold Indian flavors, and small batches made for the community.
